Hunter Valley Gardens

There's an icy blast on its way to the Hunter Valley Gardens

The frosty season has well and truly arrived and with the Winter school holidays fast approaching be sure to embrace the icy cold weather at Hunter Valley Gardens Snow Time In the Garden.

The month-long winter spectacular returns from 19th June – 18th July, 2021 bringing with it a whole host of incredible snow-themed activities.

From 11am to 3pm each day, enjoy entertainment from one of the many roving performers including adorable penguins, snowmen, and polar bears.

Try out your best twirling skills on the ice skating rink, go sliding down a massive 45m long slope on Toboggan rings, be entertained on the traditional Venetian Carousel, Tea Cup ride and Swing Chair, and enjoy the 25 metre Ferris Wheel that overlooks the white snow-filled grounds.

This year a little bit of magic is being brought to Snow Time in the Garden with the walk-through chilled igloo filled with animatronic arctic animals.

The littlest members of your family can opt-out of the Toboggan slope and instead enjoy a twiring Tea Cup ride, or play in the man-made Snow Play Zone, where they can carve out snow angels and compete in the ultimate snowball fight.

Srinivas Gopal, General Manager at Hunter Valley Gardens said, “Snow Time in the Garden is like no other event we hold here at the Gardens. Each year we see families revel in the snow and enjoy a range of thrilling and unique activities. After postponing the event last year, we can’t wait to see families enjoy this winter wonderland event once again.”
