Have a Merry Little Christmas at the Levee
This year, The Levee in Central Maitland will again be getting into the festive spirit with the annual, A Merry Little Christmas market day coming your way.
On Saturday December 14 from 10am to 2pm, market stalls from the local region will be popping up on The Levee, making for the perfect opportunity to get your Chrissy shopping sorted and supporting local businesses at the same time.
Santa will be dropping in on the day, with his elves, who will be bringing plenty of kids’ activities, food, beverages and free Santa photos in his kitchen.
Whilst you’re getting your shopping done, you’ll also have the chance to win one of two $300 vouchers. All you need to do is get involved in these two competitions, running throughout December, entries close on Sunday 22 December 2024.
Competition #1:
Browse around and vote for your favourite Christmas window display.
Competition #2:
Bring the kids along and get them trying to find Santa’s lost reindeers in the reindeer roundup!
Finish off the day browsing the curated stalls, or one of the many retailers located within the precinct to wrap up your Christmas shopping, or visit one of your favourite cafés, restaurants or bars for a relaxing morning brunch or lunch.
If you’re heading to The Levee Central Maitland anytime before the market, make sure the kids bring along their letters to Santa before Wednesday 11 December with a special post box on hand, waiting to deliver to the big guy.

Need to get the family Christmas photos sorted?
Make Christmas 2024 one to remember, and have your family picture taken with Santa in his kitchen. Look for the giant red present tied with a green bow at The Riverlink, inside is where you’ll find Santa and his elves.
When you arrive, simply scan the QR code and join the digital queue. Once you’ve provided your details, wander down The Levee to do some shopping, you’ll receive a text when it’s nearly your turn. Your photos will be emailed to you within three business days.
*Little Christmas tip, best to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
