The Central Coast dining scene is expanding, with the unique Lago Cucina opening its doors on the first floor of the Budgewoi Hotel.

Lago Cucina is a contemporary Italian trattoria that oozes relaxation and holiday vibes, with glimpses of Lake Budgewoi and an interior that evokes breezy summer days on the Mediterranean. 

Expect a mixture of classic and modern dishes on the menu, with Italian inspired flavours throughout.

Sample traditional antipasti favourites like focaccina and handmade burrata, dig into a woodfired pizza or try innovative options like Cone Bay barramundi with blistered cherry tomato, macerated fennel, charred broccolini and tomato coulis.

The restaurant's skilled mixologists have concocted a range of cocktails to perfectly complement the food menu and capture the essence of Italy.

Lago Cucina is a venture of Sydney Restaurant Group, and Director Daniel Drakopoulos is excited to be expanding the group’s venues beyond Sydney.

“Our guests can expect to be transported to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience with the restaurant's stylish decor, contemporary Italian-inspired menu, and perfectly crafted cocktails. We are thrilled to share our vision with everyone,” he said.
