We’ve all had the opportunity to experience Murray’s in Bobs Farm since its inception in 2006 but having gone into lockdown and navigating restrictions like the rest of us, gave the local business the time and ability to make some huge changes to the Port Stephens venue.

With many things soon to be announced, to get you excited in the lead-up, we can tell you all about Murray’s brand-new retail and beverage experience featuring their iconic tasting offering at their Cellar Door, alongside lifestyle pieces and homewares by Land at Murray's, produce retail by Murray’s Market, and divine baked goods by Boglione & Sons.

“We also have fresh flowers here from either local growers or from growers in Sydney. They’re available every day. We also have plants from local growers available. It’s overall a retail experience. The whole aim is that you can come in, grab some flowers, get some fresh bread, and browse the goods,” Ashleigh shared.

The Cellar

The main hub of Murray’s has been the first point of call for visitors to the venue. Still standing tall, The Cellar remains home for all things tasting for Murray’s Beer, Wine, and Spirits.

Originally known for their beer offering, the Murray’s team continues to kill it in the brewing world but have also been busy building up both their wine and spirit offering too. The team offers a range of 100% natural beer handcrafted on-site with Angry Man Pale Ale, Nectabomb IPA, Port Stephens Lager, and Whale Ale amongst our favourite picks.

Having added a distillery into the Murray’s mix back in 2017, the venue’s spirit offering includes a huge range of unique flavoured spirits including GAIA Gin, blended with delicate flavours and aromatics; DARKSIDE bringing you all your coffee liqueur dreams to life; Murray’s HQ featuring a collection of vodka and liqueur goods; a tasty selection of mixes under the CANDY BAR range; as well as a curated selection of Murray’s syrups and bitters.

Oh and to get you even more excited, DARKSIDE won themselves GOLD in the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards for 2021. So, if you get your hands on a bottle of this caffeinated goodness, you know you're in for an extra special treat!

Lucky last is of course, the team’s premium range of wine is handcrafted on-site, just like all Murray’s products and features a beautiful collection of reds, whites, sparkling wine, and even dessert wines.

Land at Murray's

Next time you land on over at Murray’s, browse the delightful selection of homewares available within the main building. Featuring goods for the home, cheeky goods for the kids, all the essentials for the ultimate kitchen collection, and so much more, Murray’s Homewares is the newest spot in Port Stephens to get your retail needs met!

The lifestyle and homewares retail experience is soon to have their very own dedicated space situated right at the entrance to Murray's.

“We’re trying to tell a story about how lifestyle can be considered. It doesn’t necessarily have to be unattainable or luxury, it’s just considered and everything has a purpose and soul to it.”

Murray’s Market 

Another newbie to hit Murray’s is none other than the foodie aficionados' go-to, Murray’s Market. The new offering is sure to be the absolute drawcard for the foodies in the area, featuring premium pantry items, a selection of gourmet deli goods, high-quality regional produce, specialty ingredients, and artisan goods.

Whether you’re looking to make up a delightful grazing platter on your way to The Bay, you just need to top of your weekly goods, or you’re just excited to browse a huge selection of high-quality produce; Murray’s Market has you sorted.

Boglione & Sons

Not ones to do things by halves, the team at Murray’s have also just launched a brand-new bakery under the name Boglione & Sons and will feature a rotating range of baked goods including freshly baked bread, glazed & flavour filled donuts, divine danishes, hand-crafted croissants, delicious sandwiches & baguettes; all of which are available to enjoy dine-in or to grab and go!

“Boglione & Sons is the family who started Petersham nurseries in the UK, and that was part of my inspiration for the property. To create a business very similarly to what they’ve created in the UK. We believe they do it the best in terms of lifestyle in the UK. Everything is detailed, considered, classic and timeless. It’s a nod to the Boglione family.”

The Bob's Farm-based venue is also due to launch their new website in the new year which will feature their curated offering of fine food and crafted alcohol to complement the culinary offerings in our day-to-day lives. So, lovers of all things Murray's will be able to engage with the brand more than ever with goods available for next-day delivery across NSW.  

In addition to all of this happening at Murray’s main hub, the local business has been working towards a number of other projects and have recently just launched the Agnes High Tea offering, and fine dining experience at Restaurant William. Watch this space for more information!
