St Thomas High Tea is hosted by the lovely Kathryn McGrath who has very generously opened her stunning home for you to enjoy an afternoon of delightful food and beautiful tea.
The two course High Teas are best kept to 6 - 10 people with the group set up around Kathryn's long table under the stunning stained-glass window.
The Tea Collective
Now situated above The Autumn Rooms on Darby Street, The Tea Collective offers over 150 teas and delicious three-tier stands of sweet and savoury treats including scones, finger-cut sandwiches, pastries, and even the option of dumplings.
Another must have is one of Becci's glasses of Iced Tea. Changing with the seasons Lavender and Lychee was being served on our visit, light on the palate it's a refreshing take on the hot tea options.
Ducks in the Field
This was one of my first High Tea experiences and what ultimately led me to falling in love with the experience. Ducks in the Field is a quirky and colourful high tea, just a short drive from Morpeth.
Residing on a quaint property in Duckenfield, guests are treated to a glass of house made punch, a starter, three different stands, a sorbet, a pana cotta and an option of tea or coffee with the last stand of sweets.
