West Best Bloc Fest took over the West End with 100 bands hitting stages across the block. A one-of-a-kind celebration of Newcastle's booming music scene, it’s all about good tunes, good mates, and a whole lot of energy.

The biggest showcase of Newcastle’s live music scene returned to the West End in 2025.

Now in its fourth year, West Best Bloc Fest has quickly become a staple of the Newcastle music scene and highlights the incredible talent of both emerging and established bands from Newcastle.

The lineup is curated by music professionals to showcase the growth and prosperity of Newcastle’s grassroots music scene; the bands, venues, creatives, and industry professionals pushing the evolution of local live music in our city.
