A Mediterranean-style spring lunch in Pokolbin

Spring in the Hunter Valley is getting a Mediterranean twist as Mercer Wines hosts a roving long lunch filled with tapas, live music, and wine.

On Saturday, 17 October, Mercer Spring Luncheon 2026 will bring a Mediterranean Fiesta to the cellar door with shared food, live music, and Mercer wines.

Join Alison, Aaron, and the Mercer Wines team for a spring celebration inspired by the flavours and dining culture of the Mediterranean.

Held at Mercer Wines’ cellar door, the roving Spring Lunch will take guests on a walk through some of the team’s favourite gourmet countries, with a tapas feast, live music, and plenty of wine along the way.

The event is all about relaxed spring dining, bringing together freshly shucked oysters, sizzling tapas, shared plates, and a sun-soaked Hunter Valley setting.

Inspired by travels through Spain and Italy, the Mediterranean Fiesta celebrates the kind of dining Mercer Wines loves most – generous shared food, cooking for the joy of it, great company, and wines that speak for themselves.

Guests are encouraged to bring friends and settle in for an afternoon of food, wine, and spring weather in Pokolbin. Dietary needs can be catered for, with guests asked to email Alison at Mercer Wines for specific requests.
