Emerging & Experimental Arts Festival
Returning in 2020 for their 23rd year, This is Not Art festival (TiNA) prides itself on providing a national platform for experimental and emerging art practises within Newcastle.
Pushing artists to extent their boundaries, take risks and experiment with alternate art forms TiNA represents the amalgamation of a number of creative festivals within Newcastle, such as the National Young Writers’ Festival and the National Student Media Conference.
Octapod, the festival producer is focused on the development of arts and culture within regional NSW. Through TiNA they are able to advocate for the thriving and diverse arts sector within the Greater Newcastle Region.
The festival is spread across four days in October and boasts a mix of rising performers, musicians, writers and thinkers from around the country.
Dates, acts and locations for 2020 are yet to be announced but hold your breath for an incredible few days of entertainment and emerging arts.
