Returning to Newcastle this September is the Big Picture Fest 2024 and is set to feature 6 new large-scale murals with crowds, once again expected to watch the acclaimed street artists painting in real time, over 3 days. 

In 2024 it's not just about the big murals - this year the Big Picture Fest will also feature evening projections in the NuSpace corridor during New Annual's First Night on Saturday 27 September, in partnership with University of Newcastle.

The festival will once again attract an outstanding calibre of artists from the local to global stage. During the festival, attendees will watch large scale murals being painted in person transforming unused walls in high profile locations in the CBD, the audience will also view massive projections, be a part of community activations and join street art walking tours.

Big Picture Fest is about heading out into your city and supporting talented artists as they leave their creative mark on Newcastle’s skyline and streetscapes with incredible large scale artworks.
