What's On

Hang up the hangover with these Lyre's cocktails

While we love a good tipple here at HUNTERhunter, there’s no denying that sometimes, laying off the booze has its benefits. The non-alcoholic movement is growing, and more people are opting for booze-free drinks for plenty of different reasons.

Want to see what all the hype is about? Dry July is upon us, and leading non-alcoholic spirits brand Lyre’s is here to make this sober month a delightful one.

Lyre’s has teamed up with three Newcastle venues (and one Central Coast bar) to bring you a range of sophisticated non-alcoholic cocktails in celebration of Dry July. These aren’t just any old mocktails – we reckon you won’t even notice that they’re alcohol-free. Plus, $1 from every Lyre’s cocktail sold across key venue partners over July is being donated to support those affected by cancer via the Dry July Foundation.

Hideout on the Harbour

Fancy sipping cocktails on the waterfront? Head to Hideout on the Harbour in Honeysuckle to taste a Mai Tai, Dark Chocolate Espresso Martini, and East Side, all made with Lyre’s spirits.

If you’re looking for cosy vibes this winter, stop in at Bartholomew’s to try the Tickle Me Pink and the Two-Faced Tommy, both vibrant additions to your night out.

Rooftop at QT

Make your way up to Newcastle’s highest open-air rooftop bar, Rooftop at QT, for a selection of Lyre’s mocktails that pair very nicely with the bar food on offer.
