A night of cabaret at Bartholomew's | 9 Nov
With chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, tiered balconies, and an air of old world charm, Bartholomew’s is certainly a fitting location for a spot of cabaret.
For the last 12 months Le Carnivale, hosted by burlesque performer Bettie Bang Bang, has transformed the King Street venue into a cabaret bar, and it’s back for a final 2023 show this November.
If you’re not familiar with Le Carnivale, this cabaret show is a whirlwind of breathtaking performances by a cast of local and interstate acts.
Even if you have been to Le Carnivale before, there’s no excuse not to go again – no show is ever the same, with Le Carnivale featuring different performers each time it rolls into town.
If Le Carnivale is a circus, then Bettie Bang Bang is the ringmaster. Bettie curates each show to make sure that they are always unique and a little bit special – you might catch aerialists dangling from the ceiling, burlesque dancers tantalising the audience, or drag queens strutting their stuff.
Bettie’s show even includes an element of audience participation with her roving performers getting the crowd involved to make everyone feel part of the show.
While you enjoy the show, you’ll be able to enjoy Bartholomew’s food and drinks offering too.
On the back of the overwhelming success of previous events, the team at Bartholomew’s have reviewed the seating arrangements and are now able to offer even more ticketing options, starting from just $35 per person for standing, all the way to front row ‘Platinum' seating with dinner and drinks included.
Le Carnivale is always a sell out, so get in early to secure your ticket to this night of glitz and glamour.
