This June, art lovers headed to Lake Macquarie to spend the day visiting some of the area’s most creative people with Lake Mac Open Studios.

Open Studios is a free event that's all about showcasing local glass, textile, oil and acrylic artists, sculptors, and more.

Held biannually, Open Studios allows local artists and makers to open the doors to their studios and invite locals and visitors in to experience a unique behind-the-scenes look at their creative space. 

It’s your chance to meet the artists, learn about their creative process, attend workshops, and purchase unique artworks, directly from the artist, to take home.

This free event is as much for the art lovers as it is for anyone wanting to find a unique piece of art for their home, that has a local touch.
