An iconic inner city entertainment venue
48 Watt Street is a unique inner-city event space encapsulated in 110 years of spectacular church history. Though the building ceased traditional church services in 2010, it maintains many of its original iconic features such as grand vaulted ceilings and fine stained-glass windows, creating a beautiful setting for intimate live performances.
In more recent times the venue has been converted into an after five drinks venue with he Atrium providing a beautiful outdoor yet undercover bar space for locals to enjoy a beer or cocktail within.
During the last 12 months, this space has also hosted the likes of Vera Blue, Dan Sultan, Sarah Blasko, Katie Noonan and Josh Pyke. The venue is also renowned for its quirky Hog Watts event, 48 Bourbon St and more.
