Partnering with local favourite, Mitch Revs, Westfield Kotara has unveiled an incredible new artwork sitting pretty on their new Level 3 carpark alongside over 200 new car spaces.
Mitch’s signature bright and fun work is sprawled across the new carpark space, and it’s more than just a pretty sight.
“Mitch Revs was the perfect fit for the larger than life artwork installation as his artwork is vibrant, bold and something for all ages to enjoy….Mitch has designed the artwork to reflect the Newcastle landscape, along with a depiction of the solar panels and a welcome statement for customers entering The Rooftop dining area,” says Westfield Kotara Centre Manager, Sarah Sylvester.
Westfield Kotara have installed 4,122 across the roof with 730 of them housed on the shade canopies in the new car park. The panels
have enough energy to power 440* homes annually
The parking area now gives customers alternate access to The Rooftop dining area and will be the perfect spot to park when new restaurants are due to hit The Rooftop in early 2019.
Check out the process from start to finish below and head along to the Level 3 Carpark at Westfield Kotara yourself to see Mitch’s work up close!
