The incredibly talented duo behind Broadmeadow-based wellness studio, The Open Mind Space, have created a unique offering in the hills of Gloucester with their 10m geodome retreat space; Sunquncha Temple.
With The Open Mind Space directors, Renee Wilkinson and Murray Smith at the helm, Sunquncha Temple is no doubt a very curated experience to be discovered.
The yoga and meditation retreat offers a unique geodome perfect for your mindfulness practice with 180-degree views of the areas rolling mountains, dams, and farmlands, and spacious Glamping Tents with all the creature comforts for overnight stays.
Whether you’re looking for a quick relaxing escape or to push past your comfort zone and break free of limitations, Sunquncha Temple is for you.
The unique property plays host to a series of day immersions, overnight experiences, and weekend retreats. With a focus on taking guests out of their everyday lives, immersing them in nature, and guiding them through breaking down limitations, expanding self-awareness, and reconnecting with their true essence in simple, practical, and sometimes mystical ways.
“We are also working with groups for ‘Mindful Hens’ weekends for the more holistic bride, corporate wellness, or private retreats where groups can curate their own retreat on the land for our workshop and facilitator options.”
The name, Sunquncha, pronounced soon-qoon-cha is Quechua for Heartbeat; defining the property’s geodome as the heartbeat of your retreat experience.
Sunquncha Temple retreats are curated to immerse you in a safely held space that allows rejuvenation, growth, and transformation. To explore the full range of upcoming day retreats, weekend immersions, week-long transformations, and more, click here.
