Fly direct to Cairns with Jetstar from Newcastle Airport

Well, there's no time like the present with Newcastle Airport, together with Jetstar and Cairns Airport announcing you can now fly DIRECT from Newcastle to Cairns with prices starting at $69, one way.

The new service is the first time our Region has been directly connected to the tropical Queensland city and is the latest in a series of new connections that Newcastle Airport has announced in recent months.
Flights from Newcastle Airport are set to take off on 23 June, and will initially run until 4 October.
Speaking today, Newcastle Airport CEO Dr Peter Cock said it was a fantastic result for the community at a time when confidence in travel was growing quickly.
“Our community has had a tough year and people really deserve a holiday. Where better than a tropical destination with direct access from our local, stress-free airport.”
“We see this service as a great example of delivering the airport our region deserves, and the timing couldn’t be better. As domestic travel restrictions continue to lift and fares remaining competitive, people are keen to get away and explore the far reaches of Australia.”
