You may have noticed lately a whole bunch of posts dropping into your socials feeds about The Station. From Friday Bar Eats n Beats, to the newly launched
handmade & eco focused markets, Homegrown, pop up meditation sessions and yoga classes, poetry evenings, comedy acts, there’s even a Chilli Festival
on the way. Literally anything, and everything, has been happening at The Station.
In addition to all the events and happenings, The Station has become the ideal place to entertain the little ones with a beautifully designed and painted
scooter track laid down in the outdoor space. Ideal for those daytime outings and weekend catch ups, it’s the perfect way to burn off that seemingly everlasting
kiddie energy, even on a not so perfect day.
What you may have also discovered are some new permanent faces in the building. As of June each of the seven spaces were filled with a diverse collection
of local retailers each bringing a colourful and creative vibe to one of Newcastle’s most historic buildings. Each store is unique and there is literally

Starting as the Kindness Project in 2017, Amy and Laura have spread their love of literature now not only selling gorgeous
second hand books but includes a lending library, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
