Go harbourside for fresh seafood and modern cuisine
If you prefer your breakfast, lunch or dinner to be complemented with a serving of stunning harbour views, then Newcastle’s harbourside restaurant, Six Degrees, should be added to your list.
Opening its doors in November 2014, Six Degrees runs with the theme of share style or individually tailored, modern Australian, fine food.
Whilst seafood features heavily on the menu those not so keen on the watery creatures will be pleased to hear that they're catered to as well. A long list of wood fired oven pizzas, together with the finest cuts of beef, pastas and other menu favourites. There is also a nice selection of vegetarian dishes and a rather decadent dessert menu.
Keeping you hydrated is a collection of craft beers, fine wines, cocktails from the list or make a request of your own. Opening 7 days and 7 nights you'll also find an all day indulgent menu that includes dishes such as the decadent duck liver pate.
Organic blend Barista coffee is also available and is matched perfectly with Six Degrees house baked cakes, slices and other treats.
Sitting at by the harbour's edge with views all the way to Nobby’s headland, Six Degrees makes for the ideal long lunch venue, or perhaps romantic evening for two, it can even become that regular haunt for you to enjoy all to yourself. Not limited to a summer time venue, all those water front views aren’t wasted in the colder months with a cosy fire place stoked to keep you warm in winter.
Along with the fine menu and food, what’s equally as tasty is the luxe interior of Six Degrees. A beautiful fit out that seamlessly blends contemporary furnishings with the relaxed seaside vibe that's lapping at its door.
