Have you visited Lambton’s newest homewares store?
The team here at HUNTERhunter loves any excuse to do a little retail therapy, but when it’s retail therapy for the home we get even a little more excited. That’s why when we dropped into Lambton’s newest homewares store, Unique Living, our hearts filled with joy.
Located on Lambton’s ever-so-popular Elder St, Unique Living brings with it the homewares and lifestyle pieces that the area was so much yearning for. Brought to us by long-time adopted Novocastrian and qualified Interior Decorator, Lisa Croese, the stunning space injects a whole lot of modern living vibes into the local community.
“I’ve been keeping an eye out for a space off and on for over ten years. I just love this Lambton village vibe and the people are great. Unique Living is quite the combination of everything I’ve done across the years,” Lisa shared.
Opening in August last year, Unique Living is the culmination of Lisa’s career highlights including over eight years as an Interior Decorator and a dream to always own her very own space.
“It’s been great since we opened. We’ve had people from everywhere come and see the space; Lorn, Maitland, Warners Bay, Tamworth; literally all over.”
Joining the likes of some of our favourite Lambton spaces including Matchbox Espresso, Rosabar, Sobelle Living, and William’s Artisan Bread & Espresso; we have no doubt Lambton is going to be one of Newcastle’s most popular suburbs.
Sitting right next door to the recently opened Elder St Pantry, Unique Living has effortlessly become a part of the Lambton community and once you step inside and experience for yourself, you’ll understand why.
“Lambton is such a supportive community, all the businesses on the street are constantly encouraging customers to drop into all the other spaces up the street.”
The crisp white space is filled with every boho-lovers home dream with rattan furniture, unique homewares, local products, handmade jewellery, ceramics, soft furnishings, coffee table books, divine artwork and photography and so much more.
Local brands you can find in-store include linen from Eadie Lifestyle, ceramics by Up Pottery, skincare by Annod, and artwork by Joey Davis, and Sarah Auld. Love a good scent? Unique Living stocks a number of natural soya candle brands in store including etìkette, LX Collection, Blissme Crystal Candles, and The Aromatherapy Co, so you’ll shop knowing there will always be a beautiful scent in-store.
“I am always on the lookout and researching for products and the range will always evolve. I started off with a real homewares focus, then I found that the jewellery has been popular and bringing in other elements has been really successful.”
Much more than a retail space, Lisa prides herself on working closely with clients to find that perfect piece for their home. Whether it’s to support clients to create a home oasis or something little that brings joy; Lisa wants to help.
Looking around the space, you will find that most of the products in-store are of the highest quality, sourced both locally and afar, and are ultimately; unique!
If you can’t quite make it in-store, you’ll be glad to know that the Unique Living online store is consistently updated with new stock, so you can shop from the comfort of your own home.
Whether you head to Unique Living with a particular piece in mind or just want to have a bit of a browse, we have no doubt you’ll love exploring the beautiful range in-store. So, what are you waiting for? Head to Lambton and check out Unique Living!
