Not your standard pub menu
Dudley. It's possible that you’ve lived in Newcastle your entire life & never actually visited this suburb.See our handpicked guides to Newcastle
What reason is there, other than to go to the beach or maybe do a drive-by Burwood Rd and check out all the massive homes. Dudley is, however, a bit of a quiet achiever.
Possibly one of Newcastle’s most beautiful suburbs made up of mostly bush and beach, it also happens to have two pubs.
With the Royal Crown Hotel, the one on your right going down the hill, well established since its refurb last year, the menu has now had a refresh and
is continuing to impress.
Brought to you by the guys from Coal & Cedar, and their mate Travis Hargreaves, the guys have done an awesome job in bringing quality food and that old school pub hospitality back to the Royal Crown Hotel.
The menu is hearty with plenty of flavours definitely not your average pub grub. There are, of course, your big players on the menu like the
Wagyu Beef Burger, and Beer Glazed Lamb Ribs along with some finer more share style plates if you prefer to have a lighter option.
For the seafood lovers take the Deep Blue Platter option with all the seafood favourites including Balmain Bugs, Oysters, Kingfish, Pickled Mussels and loads more.
Whilst it may not be on your regular route Dudley makes the perfect ‘looking for something new to do this weekend’ option.
