On the corner of Darby and Bull Streets you may have noticed something’s changed.Quill and Compass has anchored with owners Shaun and Mitch putting a massive effort in to recharging the space. There's a fresh new menu, Friday night live music with a unique honky tonk atmosphere and those Bloody Marys.
“We didn’t want an extensive menu, instead we wanted to keep it simple and focus on the quality of the meals we offer and provide a menu that everyone’s
going to enjoy.”
And for those who crave a quality Bloody Mary, you’re in luck. The guys are big fans and have a whole blackboard dedicated to them.
With a mish mash of furniture, that Shaun laughs is mostly out of his own house, and a pool table taking prime position Quill & Compass has that settle-in
and get comfy kind-of-feel. Fridays are all about the live tunes with the Honky Tonk Fridays happening each week and a killer pool comp every Sunday
from 1pm with pot luck pot pies and Bloody Mary specials.
A fresh take on an old space, there’s much to love about Quill & Compass. Shaun and Mitch are not only working hard behind the bar but in between pouring drinks and taking orders they're renovating the upstairs space which will bring something pretty awesome to Darby Street!
