The Newcastle International Animation Festival (NIAF) will return to Newcastle in November to showcase over 80 of the best animated short films from around the world in a three-day line presented by the University of Newcastle School Of Creative Industries as part of FESTIVAL X.
Across the three day animation feast, be inspired by an eclectic line-up of animation from award winners, outstanding industry icons, inspiring independents,
stupendous studios, and newcomers exploring their talent on screen for the very first time.
This year Opening Night will present the Australian Showcase, a collection of stand-out Aussie animations, screened alongside talks from two of Australia's most talented animators: Alex Weight and Simon Ashton.
