Located on Level 1 at Wests New Lambton, Lure Restaurant has a reputation for deliciously fresh seafood, which looks almost too good to eat. Their meal presentation will have you whipping out your phone for a quick instagram photo before you tuck in. But it's not all about the looks, their meals are generous, fresh and tasty; with impeccable service to match.

With fresh seafood arriving daily from the Newcastle and Sydney Fish Markets, the menu is brimming with options. We recommend for starters the seared scallops with black garlic, crispy chicken confit, chilli jam and a carrot puree. Followed by a fresh fish of the day in Japanese panko crumbs.
Lure aims to serve at least two fish species per day, depending on seasonality and which species are running. You're best to ask the waiter the best way to cook and serve the fish of the day, they're a wealth of knowledge.
One side dish you must try on the menu is the beer battered potato scallops, which are huge and come with a syringe of malt vinegar and sea salt to inject beneath the batter….so deliciously naughty.
The menu is extensive and delivers a modern twist on traditional seafood dishes, with Japanese and Italian influences evident. They also have a seafood window for you to select your produce before it gets prepared to your liking and delivered to your table.
