It’s a well-known fact that Hunter Valley Semillon is a perfect accompaniment to seafood, and this August, The Anchorage has brought the two local icons together. The incredible Port Stephens Seafood, and world-renowned Hunter Valley Semillon.

There’s something for every kind of seafood lover; midweek lunches, cooking school, wine dinner, marine inspired spa treatments and the ultimate seafood and wine weekend to top it all off.
Love Seafood Lunch Series
Mon-Fri | 12pm-2.30pm
Every weekday in August, fresh from the pristine shores of Port Stephens they’’ll be offering a Semsational two-course seafood lunch at The Galley Kitchen, perfectly paired with a glass of Thomas Wines Synergy Semillon.
And to step it up a notch this year, this series of seafood lunches will feature a different creature from the sea each week, so you can come back for more.

Seafood & Semillon Wine Dinner with Thomas Wines

Enjoy a five-course seafood degustation with matching wines at this signature event as part of the Love Sea Food Tastes Port Stephens festival.

The winemaker behind this committed Semillon and Shiraz only wine brand, Andrew Thomas, will join you for an indulgent evening of the best Seafood and Semillon. Five courses of pristine local seafood matched perfectly with five outstanding Hunter Valley Semillons from the Thomas Wines range.

Tip to Tail Seafood Cooking Class
24 Aug | 11am-2pm
Take a seat at the chef’s table as you sit down at this Tip to Tail cooking class, hosted by The Anchorage’s resident chef, Michael Jenkins.
Learn how versatile a whole fish is, and just what you can make using every part – from the nose to the tail! Michael will demonstrate how to create sublime fish stock to bisque to filleting, curries and sumptuous share plates; all from locally caught sustainable seafood. Cooking class includes a two-course share plate lunch and a Thomas Wines tasting.
