The Lake Macquarie surf brand, Lone Clothing, has been making waves in the local retail world since its inception in 2016. With now two stores, the flagship Redhead space, and the late 2019 opening on Darby St, Lone Clothing has recently dropped its biggest collection ever and whether you’re an avid Lone Clothing wearer or a complete newbie to the brand, we think you might just love it.

The 2020 Summer range features a range of designs in the classic Lone Clothing pieces including button-up shirts, boardies, singlets, tees, headwear, and our Autumn favourite; hoodies.

“All of the button ups, the boardies and the hoodies and the new designs on the t-shirts. That was the biggest drop we’ve ever done. That was eight new designs in the button ups and five in the boardies; it was a lot. We dropped these back in December right around Christmas time,” Mitch said.

All of the Lone Clothing tees, singlets, and hoodies are all hand-printed by Mitch himself, so buying from Lone Clothing is unlike purchasing at your big chain stores, it’s buying direct from the creator and giving back to our local businesses!

The all-round favourite button-ups or as we like to call them, party shirts, now come in eight different designs, making it easy to have one for each day of the week. From the loud and proud pink, coral, and zebra button-ups to the classic black and white button-ups; there’s a little something for everyone.

Boardies are up next and whilst summer might be over, you can never quite have too many boardies ready to hit the beach with for next summer? The cute designs range from your standard black pair to the more fun ones like the swirl, dots, zebra and two-tone.

“The boardies have been so popular. The swirly ones have been the most popular ones, we’ve sold heaps!”

The Lone Clothing singlets and tees are the perfect staple in any young (or old) man’s wardrobe who are looking to have a little more fun with their day-to-day wardrobe. Singlets come in Palm, Pastel, and Roman designs whilst the tees have the quirky Calm Down, Palm Tree, Relax, and Retro designs.

Last but not least, is what we’re all probably needing already this Autumn, the hoodie! Having launched these only in February, Mitch has found them already flying off of the shelves.

The independent Australian surf label was created by Redhead surf-mad local, Mitch Samways, with his inspiration coming from surfing, beers, coffee, and all-round good vibes.
