If we don’t Instagram something, did we even do it?

How many times have you been somewhere, or ordered something, for the sole purpose of Instagramming it?

I hate to admit it, but I am guilty of this on more than one occasion. But there are certain foods, places, and destinations that become popular on Instagram for a reason…they take a damn good picture! And Newcastle can certainly produce the goods.

In no particular order:

1. Merewether Baths
Definitely giving the Bondi Baths a run for its money!

2. ANZAC memorial walk

3. Acai Bowls
A colourful rainbow of deliciousness.

4. Cocktails with a view
Merewether Surfhouse is a go-to favourite.

5. The Bogey Hole

6. Street Art of Newcastle

7. Dogs at the beach
...And just dogs in general, let's be honest!

8. Bathers Way Walk
With the stunning backdrops of our coastline, why wouldn't you snap a quick pick in your activewear?

9. The latest foodie place
If there is one thing I have learnt from my time here at HUNTERhunter it is that the people of Newcastle LOVE it when a new café or restaurant opens. We are obsessed, and not only is it evident on our website but my social media begins to flood with pictures of the latest ‘it’ place.

10. Newcastle Markets
Whether it is the Olive Tree, Hunt and Gather, Sunday Farmer's Market, or any of the many other markets Newcastle has, it seems we just can't get enough. Add the sunset and the beach like the picture below and it's the recipe for a perfect Insta pic!
