Newcastle
Cooks Hill SLSC
Running a fully licensed bar each Sunday throughout summer, relax beachside while you enjoy a drink overlooking Bar Beach from The Reef Bar and Function Centre at Cooks Hill SLSC. Bar snacks are available and Sea Salt & Sage pop into the kitchen every few weeks, next scheduled for 25th January and 22nd February.

Dixon Park SLSC
Offering up a large deck space that provides uninterrupted ocean views, Dixon Park SLSC makes for the ideal spot to ease out your Sunday afternoons.

Merewether SLSC
Head to Merewether Surf Life Saving Club's Pumphouse Bar for views, tunes, and dumplings! There's beers and wine at the bar, and Sukimama serving up delicious dumplings and Korean street food on Sundays from 4-7pm during summer. Send them a message via Instagram or Facebook if you'd like to reserve a table, plus walk-ins are welcome.

Newcastle SLSC
Kick back on the lawn at Beachlife at Newcastle SLSC, open every weekend throughout the surf life saving season. Enjoy cheap drinks served ice cold, delicious beach eats, regular live music, and some of the best views in town.

Nobbys Beach SLSC
Catch all the ocean action and harbour happenings from The Groper Bar at Nobbys Beach SLSC, offering up Sunday coldies all afternoon.

Stockton SLSC
Stockton SLSC is the second oldest SLSC in Newcastle. There's no regular bar opening, but keep an eye on its Facebook page to catch when the club opens up on a Sunday for drinks and nibbles on the verandah.

Lake Macquarie
Caves Beach SLSC
Right until the end of January, Caves Beach SLSC opens up its Beach Bar from Wednesday through to Sunday from 2pm. Enjoy live music, icy cold beverages, and a spectacular view.

Redhead SLSC
Enjoy cold drinks and beach views at Redhead SLSC. Keep an eye on its Facebook page to check the bar's opening hours so you can head down and soak up the summery vibes of an afternoon.

Swansea Belmont SLSC
Sit back and relax on the surf club deck at Swansea Belmont SLSC this summer with cheap drinks and live music, while overlooking Blacksmiths Beach. Bring the family, cheese platter or snacks and enjoy the view.
