The Station

Popping up at The Station was a collaboration of local interior design creatives

Hundreds braved the weekend’s heatwave to wander the inaugural Open House Newcastle on January 23 - 25. A highlight was the booked-out styling workshop with Andy and Deb from The Block.

For the last 6 months retailers and interior designers from the City Centre have been busily working away on the design concept for Open House, and on January 23 - 25 all was revealed.

Open House Newcastle is an immersive installation, entirely furnished with local retailer products by resident interior designers.

The free event which was supported by City of Newcastle and wouldn’t have been possible without their support, invited any and all to wander through the pop-up home and experience each space, along the way browsing the incredible collection of interiors and wares, all of which are available to purchase from local retailers.

In addition to Open House Newcastle, a series of workshops were scheduled across the three days and hosted by inspiring presenters, like Andy and Deb from popular renovation television series The Block.
