The 2023 HIA-CSR Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards, held at NEX on Saturday 18 October, saw Metricon's Studio M awarded for 'Excellence in Showroom'.

The purpose-built selections studio represents a significant investment of more than $5 million to support the company’s Newcastle customers and growth in the region.

The facility underwent an extensive build program with Cunsolo Architects working closely with Metricon, to develop a contemporary and interactive showroom designed to help customers with their interiors and exteriors selections. 

The state-of-the-art, purpose-built space spans over 1000m2 and brings the next level in design, style customer inspiration and innovation to Newcastle.

The innovative Studio M is designed to be very interactive for visitors, while showing a wide range of possibilities and examples of interior and exterior products and allowing customers to get a taste of what to expect in their own homes.

David Shorten, Metricon’s General Manager, NSW, said of the award win,
