We were all buzzing with excitement when Earp Distilling opened their doors in Carrington back in late 2019, and now in 2021, we can all give the local distillery a round of applause after landing FOUR medals at the World Gin Awards.

Having really only being opened for just over a year, including four months closure during COVID, the 100% family-owned and operated business is psyched to be able to share the news with the people of Newcastle.

“We thought it would be amazing to win even a bronze award for any one of our gins, especially with the level of quality coming from our peers in the Australian craft gin industry.

“To our surprise and delight, we were awarded four medals (equal to only one other Australian distillery) including a Gold Medal! Newcastle’s very own distillery is now winning gold on the world stage, and we couldn’t be prouder,” Joshua Earp said.
