Brought to you by CoastXP, the Caves Coastal Hike has just launched
If you enjoy getting out into the great outdoors exploring nature and our rugged coastline, you're going to love CoastXP's newest tour - Caves Coastal Hike.
Beginning at Caves Beach the Caves Coastal Hike takes you on a relaxed guided coastal leisure hike through the Wallarah National Park, along the way focusing on Aboriginal Heritage, local geology, coastal history as well as the flora and fauna which are native to the park.
Explore the Peninsula's abundance of natural and man-made points of interest including sea caves, native wildlife and that spectacular rugged coastline.
During the two-hour, 8.5km guided hike you will traverse through a spotted gum woodland, in addition to sand and rocky tracks. The Caves Coastal Hike offers a way of experiencing the stunning coastal scenery of Lake Macquarie by foot, as your guide takes you through some of the most iconic and picturesque areas of the National Park.
CoastXP Founder and Managing Director Dominic May says in addition to the spectacular scenery another important aspect of the Caves Coastal Hike is the emphasis placed on respecting and conserving our local coastal environment, so we can continue to enjoy this area for years to come.
