Take a drive & discover this tiny little shopping treasure
Located in the most unlikely of places, Imprint House, by Natalie Walton, is full of surprising shopping discoveries.See our handpicked guides to Newcastle
Situated along Yarramalong Rd, in quiet little Wyong Creek, blink and you may miss it, as we did. The little 1282 sign that is the only hint to Natalie's gorgeous retail space.
The property's narrow driveway leads you right to the front door of a rustic little country style shed, that is Imprint House. Built by Natalie’s husband Daniel, the wooden and warm exterior invites you in to browse the crisp white interior space that’s softened by Natalie’s carefully edited collection of artisan pieces sourced from around Australia and across the globe.
Styled to perfection and with a focus on handmade and ethically produced items, the floor to ceiling shelving stocks everything from Scandinavian Reindeer Hides and Australian Merino Sheepskin’s to Moroccan Cushion covers, Nepalese felt baskets, hand-made Turkish towels and hand-blown vases. There are even copper hooks, timber-handled secateurs and those gorgeous little timber egg cups.
As a writer and stylist for leading homewares and lifestyle magazines in Australia and overseas, a former deputy editor of Real Living magazine and founder
of the Daily Imprint, Natalie has spent most of her career styling,
curating and editing people’s homes. It’s been these years of working with interiors that gave Natalie her vision for Imprint House, 'to simplify the
art of creating a home'.
Whilst an absolute delight to take a browse through and chat to Natalie, if you don't have time for the drive anytime soon take a browse instead at the Imprint House online store and be prepared to part with some money.
