Super relaxed with bang on ocean views the menu is extensive and super tasty. Either grab a seat on the promenade or take a wander up to the beach for a late afternoon dinner and dip.

Pizza Kiosk

Located on Merewether beach, Sunday afternoons don't get much more relaxed than this. Whether you dine in, sit on the grassy slope or head on down to the beach, the $10 and $15 options are also easy on the wallet.

Scotties Seafood & Bar

The outdoor area at Scotties is ideal for little ones who find it difficult to sit still. The seafood heavy menu is ideal for the adults and also has a bunch of kiddies options to keep them happy.
The Lucky
Face Painting is a winner at The Lucky, as is the Kids Eat Free deal every Sunday.

Sydney Junction Hotel
10am - Midnight
Sundays are all about tapas with the 3 for $30 dinner special. SJ's also happens to be home to a most awesome kids playground area that, hopefully, the kids can disappear into and leave you to eat your meal in peace.

Lowlands Bowling Club
12pm - 7pm
What kid doesn't love a burger? Everyone loves burgers especially when they're made by the Lowlands crew. Best yet there's a bowling green and one of Newcastle's best playground areas just at the front door.

The Rooftop

With nine restaurants covering all cuisines, the Rooftop's outdoorsy/indoorsy feel offers loads of space both for dining and playing. The jungle gym is the perfect pre-dinner occupier as is the grassy area which makes the perfect place for cartwheels and handstands.
