A pair of vintage collectors in Wickham
Welcome to the one bedroom home of Tabbatha and Tyler. It might be small but it sure is beautiful, “Less house, more home,” is Tabbatha’s motto. As soon as you step into the entrance of this Wickham home, it feels like you are on holidays.
Tabbatha and Tyler are makers and collectors. Tabbatha a maker and collector of furniture and fashion for her boutique, Stoned Saint Moon in Islington, and her partner, Tyler, is a musician whose stage name is Otis Edgar.
Like so many creatives, their home is always changing with things found on their travels or furniture upcycled from the roadside or local markets. The Wickham Park Markets, held on the last Sunday of every month are one of their favourite haunts.
Their home incorporates vintage pieces collected whilst sourcing items for Stoned Saint Moon, alongside a collection of artworks by friends and family and some incredible feature lighting. "We have enough stuff in this world," Tabbatha explained as she talked about her love for refurbishing vintage statement pieces rather than buying new.
The entrance of the home has been converted into a gorgeous sunroom. Tabbatha found this peacock chair on the side of the highway at Gateshead!
Tabbatha, also a photographer took this stunning photo whilst traveling in India.
