A relaxed 1920s Californian bungalow in Hamilton
Welcome to the gorgeous 1920’s Californian bungalow home of the Flanagan-Jones family. Scott and Biarta bought this little green house in Hamilton, just over a year ago. No strangers to the neighbourhood, at the time they were only living a few doors up the street!
This little green house needed some tender, love and care. Immediately the old wallpaper was taken down, and new wallpaper put up, new floors installed, the kitchen updated and a fresh coat of paint. Transforming the interior of the home into a modern family abode.
I’m not sure if I have ever met a more relaxed family than this lot...Scott and Biarta have just had baby number three two weeks ago, joining older siblings Charlie and Audrey.
This family is full of energy and warmth, which makes for one welcoming home that exudes love and laughter. That's my favourite part of this house. It is genuine, nothing is overly planned and it just all works to make for a beautiful family home.
Stunning lead light windows and fireplace. Biarta has retained many original features.
Gorgeous Audrey and her self-portrait. Old school door and wall clock, some of Biarta’s many awesome Clyde Street antique finds.
