Homegrown markets are back for their first market of 2020, this Saturday, 9am-2pm, at The Station, Newcastle!
See our handpicked guides to Newcastle

The tracks will be filled with unique handmade stalls, delicious food, coffee, live music, heaps of kids activities, harry potter activation + lots of good vibes!
The Homegrown community will be supporting the NSWRFS at their next two events by hosting a huge raffle of handmade goodies with all funds to go directly to our firefighting superheroes! The raffle includes a whole heap of incredible items donated by the wonderful stall holders, such as natural skincare, handmade jewellery, art, homewares, plants, ceramics, baby items, vouchers + so much more! Tickets for the raffle are a pay-what-you-can donation and will be available from 9.30am Saturday, at the raffle table under the middle awning. There will also be a craft table set up to make cards and pictures to send to the firefighters and those affected by the fires.

Homegrown Markets

A trio of our must shop stalls this Saturday are…

Jojo Collective
Homegrown stall holder, Jodie Baulch creates the most beeeautiful perfume oils inspired by nature. All blends have a natural oil base with no harsh chemicals, no synthetic fragrances and are alcohol-free. Australian certified organic, fair trade, and local grown ingredients where possible, to create a perfume scent that smells amazing and are good for you and your environment! The perfumes are long-lasting natural blends of pure essential oils resins and absolutes that are made up with a carrier oil of sweet almond oil and fractures coconut oil.
They come in a stunning glass perfume bottle or a roll-on bottle that's perfect for on go application. There's nothing like precious, natural ingredients that are good for the mind, body and soul. Hand-poured in the Hunter Valley by Jodie, who is a qualified massage therapist. Jodie designed her own natural essential oil perfumes range as she found it difficult to access a perfume that didn't give her a headache, so she blended her own and they truly are amazing!
Tamarind Pod
Authentic Sri Lankan street-food served up by local chef, Daniel Wijekoon. Daniel launched his food truck the Tamarind Pod in November 2019 at a Homegrown Market and has fast become a favourite with the regulars! Lots of vegetarian, vegan + gluten free options available makes sampling the Sri Lankan deliciousness super accessible. Daniel will be cooking up lots of tasty curry, rice, rotti… definitely one not too miss!

Sassy Scrunchie Co

Regular Homegrown stallholder, Jade Cardow is launching an exciting NEW product this Saturday! Along with her usual handmade hair accessories and jewellery line up, Jade is now creating reusable sandwich + snack bags - YES!
