Zeus Street Greek is all about Greek street food. Named after the Greek god of sky and thunder, and overall king of the gods, Zeus lives up to its mighty powerful name, delivering the goods when it comes to their delicious contemporary Greek menu.
Zeus brings the experience of Greek street food to Newcastle with slow cooked meats, fresh salads and soft fluffy pita breads.
The food is simple and wholesome family style Greek food, with everything made from scratch on site. Including the delicious tzatziki, spanakopita and loukoumades (greek doughnuts with honey, cinnamon and walnuts).
“The meat is cooked in a very boutique manner, slow cooked for more than 12 hours. We cook on lava rocks, on an automatic conveyor system, so we know everything is going to be the same quality.”
Menu highlights include the Uncle ‘Tzimmy’ Classic with lamb, chicken or pork accompanied by tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika and chips, wrapped in a pita. Or the vegetarian version Stavros Stavrou with grilled haloumi, Aegean slaw, olive tapenade, caramelized onion, tzatziki, tomato and parsley.
Part of the Westfield Kotara Rooftop Dining precinct, Zeus is all about serving super fresh, authentic Greek food, full of flavour, family and love.
