The summer holidays are just around the corner and whilst some of us are counting down the days, gin lovers have another important date on the horizon. That being the opening of the Farmer's Wife Distillery's new distillery door.

Set to officially open in January 2023 the building is all but complete, in the meantime Founder & Head Distiller Kylie Sepos has another festive surprise with the release of her Summer Spritz Gin.

Previous releases have sold out extremely fast, so Kylie and the team have been working hard to ensure their 3rd release lasts a little longer.

The limited edition Summer Spritz Gin, has clean characters of lemon and lime which are emphasised by the acidity of fresh pressed sauvignon blanc grapes, sourced from our friends at Tamburlaine Organic Winery. This is followed by grassy herbal notes of native sage and a sweet floral finish of honey and passionfruit.

Combining the 13 signature botanicals with fresh pressed Sauvignon Blanc grapes results in a flavour that perfectly encapsulates the essence of summer. Paired with a good sparkling wine in a cool summer spritz, this gin is the ideal addition to the socialising and festivities of the warmer months.

Passionfruit Spritz
This delicious bright spritz is the epitome of summer!
45ml Summer Spritz Gin
10ml Lime Juice
90ml Sparkling Wine
90ml Soda
Pulp of one passionfruit
Build in a spritz glass full of ice. Add gin, lime juice, sparkling wine, soda and passionfruit and stir.

Elderflower Spritz
For something floral, fresh and fun this spritz highlights the beautiful floral notes of the Summer Spritz Gin.
30ml Summer Spritz
30ml Elderflower cordial or liquer
60ml Sparkling Wine
60ml Soda Lime and mint to garnish
Build in a spritz glass full of ice. Add gin, elderflower cordial, sparkling wine, soda and stir. Garnish with lime and fresh mint.
