Knowing it’s hard for a group to decide on a venue to to start the the weekend celebrations, we’ve compiled a list full of all the best venues based on their outdoor beer gardens, drink specials and live tunes!
The Bennett
Hitting the top of our list is none other than Hamilton’s new go-to venue, The Bennett Hotel. The recently refurbed space boasts one hell of an interior but it’s the beer garden that is the spot to be spending your Friday afternoon and long into the evening. With live tunes from some of Newcastle’s best musicians kicking off from 7pm and $6 house pours from 8pm til close.

Forget about sitting at home with your aux cord or Bluetooth speaker, Quill & Compass book a long list of musicians that is sure to keep your Friday nights interesting. From Irish folk, Bluegrass, New Orleans Jazz, and everything in between; this venue has you sorted.
