A new wedding experience is on its way for Belmont 16s
Lake Macquarie's iconic Belmont 16s is undergoing a huge renovation which will, in 2023 see the addition of a new cocktail bar and more contemporary dining options.
The new renovations will also position Belmont 16s as a premier wedding venue, and the newly created Events team wish to invite all soon wedding couples in to hear about their exciting plans.
Speaking with Belmont 16s Marketing Manager Jess Graham, Jess explained,
“We are taking couples on the journey with us on this project and allowing exclusive pre build and construction site inspections for couples who wish to view where our beautiful new wedding space will be."
“We kit you out with hard hats, high vis and take one couple through at a time which allows us to focus on the building that day. We share the interior stylist fittings and not yet published architectural renderings so couples can get a real feel for what your wedding day will look like.”
Called “South East View“ the name pays tribute to its expansive uninterrupted views that look South East of Belmont Bay in Lake Macquarie.
The word “View” is in lieu of room as the most prominent feature is the incredible sunsets and water views it captures.
The versatile space can be split in two holding up to a maximum of 250 guests. Designed by Sydney architects ALTIS in conjunction with Belmont 16s current over all 23 million redevelopment, Dominic Fredrigo from ALTIS took us through a more detailed view on the design elements,
"Emphasis has been placed on a refined, minimal and neutral style with organic tones allowing the beautiful first floor extensive water views to be the hero."
"There will be a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor to expansive dedicated terrace spaces reflecting the very best of waterside lifestyle hospitality."
"Refined finishes and tones have been used so South East View can deliver a flexible space suited to a vast array of events with a stunning outlook, which will position the venue as a premium and unique event experience."
