There is a real charm about the iconic Paymasters cafe, situated in Newcastle’s Foreshore Park. The restaurant, which has stood the test of time, has rebooted its menu, aiming to create a sense of comfort for those with dietary requirements.
Head chef, Rodney Scales, makes a hero out of cauliflower with a sticky sesame seed glaze. A simple but perfect dish that which will woo your taste buds.
Paymasters' Mixed Mezze Plate ticks all the appetiser boxes, paying particular attention to colour and flavour. The plate is served with parmesan chilli popcorn, focaccia, dips, marinated olives, roast capsicum, labna and marinated mushrooms.
