First-of-its-kind cocktail creations in Newcastle and yum cha – need I say more?

Since its inception in June 2021, OH MY PAPA in Newcastle’s East End has been bringing its unique flavours to the people of Newcastle and today, Nikki and the team continue their unique experiences with their teapot cocktail creations and yum cha menu additions.

Teapot Cocktails

Having always been known for their unique cocktail creations, OH MY PAPA has done it again with the addition of not one, not two, but THREE teapot cocktail offerings.

Made with tea-infused gin, the three flavours are available to share during OH MY PAPA’s Yum Cha & Yakitori set menu on Saturdays and Sundays, 11.30am-3pm.

“The combination of the tradition of afternoon tea with alcohol and fruit is bursting with colour. The teapots are presented beautifully – it’s a fun, bold, and unique way to serve a drink. This is a trendy way to enjoy our Yum Cha and Yakitori set menu,” Nikki said.

Earlier this year, the team launched their Yum Cha & Yakitori set menus for weekend lunch, and to say they’ve been a hit is the understatement of the year. For just $40 per person, you can sample a delicious OH MY PAPA taster menu.

The best part? They offer not only a meat and vegetarian option but vegan too!

OH MY PAPA New Dishes

Additionally, the venue’s a la carte menu has two new dishes for you to sample on your next OH MY PAPA night out.

From the small menu, it’s the banana blossom and tofu salad with cassava cracker, and from the bigger menu, it’s the Singapore chilli king prawns.

It doesn’t end there, the OH MY PAPA team has some grand plans moving into the end of the year with dinners on Monday nights kicking off in November, and Friday lunches starting in December.

Oh and one more little surprise… there may very well be a new venue coming to King Street into the new year. Watch this space!
