Check out Newcastle's most popular cafes - as voted by you!

Here are your current coffee hot spots!

Just last week we asked those of you on Instagram just where your go-to coffee spot was across Newcastle. Well… the votes are in!

Drumroll please….

1. Mr. Sister Coffee

Coming in at number one, is Mr. Sister Coffee! There are no ifs or buts that this place serves up one of the best cups of Joe in town. The specialty espresso bar in Westfield Kotara has been bringing us amazingly good, and consistent coffee since they opened. Swing by for a quick takeaway or settle in and read the newspaper at the timber bar.
Where: Level 2, Westfield Kotara

2. Xtraction Espresso

Coming in for a close second, Xtraction was only ONE vote behind Mr. Sister.
Where: 2/36 Bolton St, Newcastle

3. The Autumn Rooms

The masters of creating the aesthetically pleasing coffee, have come in as your THIRD fav coffee spot in Newcastle.
Where: 127 Darby St, Cooks Hill

4. Praise Joe Urban Pantry

These guys are pretty fresh to the cafe scene, so to see them so high on the list is super exciting!
Where: 22 Elizabeth St, Tighes Hill

5. Equium Social

The sister space of Talulah Bar, Equium Social has been changing the Mayfield cafe game ever since it opened! With rotating local coffee and a gallery showcasing local artists and a unique Larder room; what’s not to love?
Where: 1/5 Maitland Rd, Mayfield East

6. New Slang

We feel like these guys literally just opened their doors but they’re already on the top 10 list? You guys must be a fan! To be fair, we can’t blame you. Whilst the coffee is surely a hit, we can’t stop drooling at their stunning interior!
Where: 480 Hunter St, Newcastle

7. Wildflower Espresso / Wildflower City

These two are killing it! In just over one year, the young couple now own and operate two separate cafes. One in Wallsend and the other being their recently opened location at The Station.
Where: 71 Cowper St, Wallsend | 110 Scott St, Newcastle

8. Goodfriends Eatery

Another newbie on the list, Goodfriends has certainly made their name in the local community. Get your caffeine hit with the help from Seven Miles Coffee Roasters.
Where: 144 Union St, The Junction

9. Sherwood Coffee Bar

The oh so humble hole in the wall coffee bar has gone from strength to strength. And with the sudden boom of love along Parry St these guys won’t be getting quieter any time soon.
Where: 67 Parry St, Newcastle West

10. Good Brother Espresso

These guys have been a staple to the Newcastle coffee scene for us coffee lovers for years, so we're glad to see them on the list!
Where: 40 King St, Newcastle

So there we have it! Your top 10 most popular cafes in Newcastle. If you want to have your say, make sure to keep an eye out on our Instagram stories for our next question!
