Bringing together 60 Newcastle restaurants and cafes Newcastle Food Month's month-long food tour Plate Date is happening throughout the month of April. Designed to get you out and about exploring some foodie destinations you may not have tried before, each venue will be custom designing a Newcastle Food Month dish and pairing it with a beverage, alcoholic or non*, for a mouth-watering $25 throughout the month of April.**

Salmon Mizore Ramen at Susuru - Taste the light flavoursome chicken broth with shio tare and crisp daikon-oroshi, topped with fresh salmon sauteed in Japanese sake. Matched with Tamburlaine Petite Fleur Rose.
Eggplant Kasundi - Try the Spiced Eggplant Kasundi with steamed Tumeric rice and a pappadum, served with Hunter Valley Semillon at Nor East Bistro.
Gelato Buffet for Two - Estabar will be creating four freshly made Autumn inspired seasonal scoops of gelato and accompanied by of course two coffees.
