Bright, light and colourful Poke bowls
Forget burgers, deep fried chicken, donuts and freak shakes…we have found a place where the food is bright and colourful, it’s good for you and tastes delicious!
Nathan and Jacob Pepper from WIA, along with their friend Murray, have been keeping up with the food trends in other cities and identified a hole in the Newcastle market.
Poké, pronounced poh-kay, is a Hawaiian delicacy served with sashimi, rice and fresh fruit and raw vegetables. Giving credit to its Hawaiian background, the name Lulu’s has come from the capital Honolulu.
Open for breakfast and lunch, Lulu’s is ideal for the health conscious, vegetarians, vegans and basically anyone who loves tasty food that won’t leave you feeling bloated and full of regret afterwards.
Whether you order one of their poké creations, build your own, decide on an acai or pitaya bowl, or simply opt for a coffee or smoothie, Lulu’s is the perfect summer hot spot.
