Mayfield’s newest foodie spot is here for the kids too
In September last year, Mayfield welcomed a brand-new foodie offering to locals and it sure received nothing short of an overwhelmingly positive response from those who have had the chance to experience it.
To whom are we referring? None other than Hanbury 58 Food Collective! Located within the walls of the MEX Club, the opening of Hanbury 58 Food Collective was the culmination of months of behind-the-scenes collaborative work of Peter James of the Blue Door Group and Damian O’Reilly of Concept Hospitality.
Both avid foodies, hospitality connoisseurs, and dads, their approach to Hanbury 58 Food Collective has always centered around two important pillars: great food and a family-friendly environment.
Just last month, the Mayfield foodie joint officially launched Hanbury’s Jungle; a dedicated jungle-themed kid's play area complete with a ball pit, slide, and swing. Whether you’ve got big kids or little ones, this indoor play space is no doubt sure to keep them entertained whilst you get to enjoy a bev or two.
In addition, the Mayfield spot has also just launched their kids’ birthday party packages – where dreams come true, aiming to take all the fuss (and stress) out of organising your little ones' exciting day.
“The great thing about our kids' parties is that the process is all digitised and super convenient for the parent. We have a digital RSVP process that we manage on our side, from this we know who will be attending, each child’s meal of choice, etc. We try to take care of everything to take as much stress and effort away from the parent as possible.”
Available for groups of 8 and more, the Hanbury 58 Food Collective’s kids' party package, Little Dreamers offers lunch from the kid’s menu, a serving from Lulu’s Sundae Bar, 2x kids’ soft drink or juice jugs, takeaway lolly bags, colouring pages & crayons, dress-up photo booth, and digital invitation & RSVP process.
For those who want just that little bit more, the Big Dreamers (add-ons) include an arcade card, arrival snacks, and custom cakes.
If you’re not quite looking at booking a kid's birthday party, but still want to make the most of the venue’s kids’ offerings, you absolutely can! Not only with the kids be able to explore Hanbury’s Jungle, but the older kids will have a blast in the venue’s dedicated arcade area.
With fan favourites like the basketball hoop, air hockey, and even magnetic darts; the kids will go nuts in the dedicated arcade area.
In addition to all of this, the MEX Club is also home to an automated Selfie Screen, resembling a bit of a magic mirror and comes complete with a dress-up box filled with feather boas, hats, and all sorts of dress-up paraphernalia!
For dining, there is a selection of kid’s meals on the menu all of which are just $12! Choose from a Margherita Pizza, Spaghetti, Fish & Chips, Cheeseburger, or Chicken Tenders. Finish off your Hanbury 58 Food Collective Experience by letting the kids at Lulu’s self-serve Sundae Bar.
For $8 per serving, your kids can DIY soft-serve ice cream and lollies – the best part? They can load it up with as much sweet goodness as their heart desires!
Whether you’re looking for a new kid-friendly venue to get the family out and experiencing or your little one’s birthday is coming up and you’re on the lookout for an all-encompassing party, drop by Mayfield’s Hanbury 58 Food Collective!
