Brought to you by the usual food-focussed team that is behind local gems Popolo Gelateria, and Napoli Centrale, the newest addition to the group’s offering is the Wickham-based casual eatery and retail outlet, Italy’s Pantry.

With Alfonso and Michela at the helm once more, this new venture is bringing together a little bit of all of their other ventures to give visitors the ultimate Italian experience, or if you will, Newcastle’s very own Italian Pantry!

The casual dining venue provides unpretentious authentic Italian food in the heart of Wickham on Throsby Street. Dine-in and browse their expansive Italian dish options or organise pick-up delivery of their high-quality pizza, pasta, gelato, and more!

Browse through the selection of starters including the crowd favourite Arancini, tasty Garlic Prawns, or the perfect snacking Antipasto Box. Choose from a selection of pasta and pizza available before wrapping up your experience with a top-tier dessert. What will it be? Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Cannoli, or Mini Krapfen?

In addition to the dine-in element, Italy’s Pantry is exactly as the name suggests, a pantry for all things Italian. From a range of Italian cooking staples, and buckets of Nutella to house-made goods like fresh pasta, lasagne, arancini, bar-bake pizza, and bases, including some vegan and gluten-free options!

Not just your go-to for an Italian grocery pick-up or a dine-in venue, Italy’s Pantry will soon be pumping out coffees, breakfast, and lunch to go every morning for you to get onto your working day.

“We have partnered with Lavazza coffee where we have a shared goal to promote the best of Italy’s food and experiences. Customers can buy whole bean coffee packs not typically available.”

Speaking of the best Italian food and experiences, the team also plans to bring a new Italian flair to the area with the launch of their Italian cooking and language classes.
