Cheese lovers living lakeside, you all have a reason to be just a little excited, with the very Italian and very authentic Fredeli opening its doors on the Esplanade, at Warners Bay.

Fredeli has all of life's tasty essentials from cured meats, European and local cheeses, quality smallgoods, breads, muffins, coffee and so much more. Owner Federico, originally from Italy explained how he wanted to create a business that allowed him to express himself in a way that he loved and brought his culture to the place he now calls home.

Growing up on the family farm in Italy, much of his life revolved around quality, hand-made food that was full of flavour, whether it be baking breads, curing meats or growing vegetables.

With the love of food flowing through his veins upon moving to Australia Federico made a point of working with some of the best in the foodie business, including Sydney-based Armando Percuoco and Hunter Valley Chef, Robert Molines. These invaluable years of training further helped Federico to learn and develop an appreciation for quality food.

Taking a wander around Fredeli you’ll discover a whole bunch of tasty goodness with Federico only wanting to stock traditional Italian products or products produced using traditional Italian methods.

“Just like you would find back in Italy” says Federico in his heavy Italian accent.

Federico’s passion for food and all things Italian is undeniable and there’s no better way to experience this flavoursome little deli then by grabbing yourself a bench seat by the window and settling into one of Federico's freshly sliced antipasto plates and watch the Warners Bay world pass by.
