Lake Macquarie's outdoor dining event, ‘Feast for the Senses’, is back in 2023!
The annual outdoor dining experience is back in 2023 as a part of Lake Macquarie Living Smart Festival – one of Australia's largest sustainability events.
Relax, dine, and dance under the stars at the event with all of the taste with none of the waste.
This year, Feast for the Senses has joined forces with Oz Harvest to bring you a feast that will leave you with full bellies and full hearts.
Lake Macquarie City Council Manager Arts, Culture and Tourism Jacqui Hemsley said the partnership with OzHarvest aligned perfectly with this year’s ‘War on Waste’ festival theme.
“There is a firm focus with this event on nothing going to waste,” she said.
Featuring a unique menu, with all of the food prepared by OzHarvest chefs using only sustainably sourced ingredients. The menu features vegetarian options to help protect our planet and any leftovers are packaged at the end of the event and redistributed to people in need. Nothing goes to waste!
Adding to the experience is live music and entertainment to enjoy from the incredible Hot Potato Band. So grab your loved ones and experience an unforgettable night together under the stars!

Where: Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima (MAP mima) Lake Macquarie - 96 Creek Reserve Rd, Speers Point
Time: 5.30-8.30pm
Cost: $70 per person (plus booking fee)
Includes: A drink on arrival, live entertainment and a 2-course meal prepared by Oz Harvest Chefs from their Food for Good Food truck.

Feast for the Senses is an over-18s event. Tickets are on sale until Monday 4 September or until sold out.

Please note: Ticket price includes a $5 donation to Oz Harvest, in addition to the proceeds from the menu. Every paid event enables OzHarvest to deliver a nourishing lunch, free of charge, to a charity or community event for vulnerable Australians.

Warm aromatic rice and lentil pilaf, caramelised onions and almonds topped with Shawarma spiced mushrooms, house pickles, tahini, herbs (vg, df, gf)

Grilled halloumi, vegan nduja, fennel slaw, aquafaba aioli Burger and Twice cooked potatoes served with all meals!
Followed by dessert...
Chocolate, orange and jasmine slice with earl grey ganache (gf)
To quench your thirst...
You will receive a welcome drink on arrival. Additional drinks will be available for purchase onsite from the bar. All alcoholic beverages are sourced from local suppliers.
