Cadre brings specialty coffee and grab n' go meals to the shoppers at Harris Farm Markets

If you’ve visited Harris Farm Markets on Darby Street, you might have picked up a coffee from the on-site cafe, Cadre. You can’t miss the cafe as you quite literally have to walk past it on your way into the market.

Cadre was brought to life from the masterminds from one of Newcastle East’s favourite cafes; Moor.

Big on their coffee, with a special brew from the gals over at Floozy Coffee Roasters, your grocery shopping caffeine pick-me-up might just help you get it done in record time!

The team at Cadre are extreme coffee enthusiasts and want us Novocastrians to have a true taste of different coffee. Featuring a new single origin coffee each and every week so that you guys get to taste test new flavours! Love the featured coffee? You can even buy a packet to take home with you. 

Forgot your cup? No stress. These guys have also jumped on the Huskee Cup bandwagon and have them stocked! Haven’t heard of the Huskee Cup? It’s a reusable cup made from coffee waste and was designed just down the road in Sydney; how cool is that?

If smoothies are more your thing, you can literally order ANYTHING! There’s none of this, ‘oh sorry we’ve run out of bananas,’ business. These guys have access to the largest produce store quite literally on their doorstep.

The food menu is kept simple for those that might just want to grab n’ go, but still full of all of the good stuff you want. Fill up on banana bread, indulge in one of their toasties, or if you’re feeling extra hungry; just order both!

Cadre also stocks of some pretty special pastries. With the goods coming from one of our favourite local pastry chefs, Gareth Williams from Covered in Crumbs, you’ll be able to pick up one (or many) of their goodies to treat yourself after doing the hard job of grocery shopping. In our opinion, you’ve totally earned it!
